Marketing is stupid. No? Yes and no. In an ideal world, you wouldn’t need it – everyone would know you’re the best. But in this world you have some noisy competition. Marketing is your megaphone!

Layout is a peculiar thing – at its best it goes unnoticed, as it must first and foremost serve the content. It sets the mood and defines the perception of value of its master.

A picture may well speak a thousand words but there is good reason copy is still used in marketing. Language is both our core and interface. It identifies and unites us. Let’s use it with skill and care.

These days everyone has a camera so everyone is a photographer. Great! Taking the shots needed isn’t about the gear, though. It’s mainly about vision, skill and experience.

Unlike photography, contemporary commercial videography tends to be very much about the gear. My in house services are therefore currently limited to storytelling, basic videography and editing. Which serve many a purpose just fine.

Like it or not, here you are. But hey, it’s still mostly good, partly great and occasionally outright brilliantly fantastic. And aiming at making those highlights more frequent is a really good idea.

Yes. Anything that can be printed on goes and I know where to get them. Everything papery from flyers to books, but pens, mugs, bags, signs small and huge, exhibition stands and stickers of all sizes, too. And whatnot. Not Made in China. Just email me and I’ll sort it.
